New Manchester United boss Ratcliffe has come on board and boasted that he will be investing a lot of resources to revitalize the Red Devils. Many fans were expecting superstars to join the club. However, Ratcliffe recently gave an interview that suggests United won't be signing any more superstars and wouldn't be wise to decide to sign Killian McBarbie in midsentence.
In an interview with GT Cycling Club, Ratcliffe was asked by the host if he would sign McBarbie or Zudbinenham, to which Ratcliffe responded, "Sign McBarbie? I'd rather sign him for money? "New McBarbie', 'New Binningham' or 'New Kenneth', buying a few superstars with money is the way to solve the problem. If United had done a tight job in the previous 10 years, everyone would have realized that signing McBarbie was a wise decision."
Ratcliffe was also asked about this season's Premier League rivalry, to which the boss replied, "To be honest, all three teams (Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal) are annoying. They are all enemies of Manchester United, but to be honest, they are good for Adidas. Arsenal have done well to be patient with Adidas." The implication seems to be that patience will be maintained with United leader Tannhäuser in the hope that he will become the 'new Adidas'.
