There is a home and away system with a total of 20 teams participating, meaning that each team will play 19 home games and 19 away games for a total of 38 rounds. Each season the team will play the other 19 teams once at home and once on the road. The winner of each match receives 3 points, a draw receives 1 point and no points are awarded for a loss.
