This includes La Liga, which is the highest level of soccer in Spain and one of the highest levels in the world.
Each team can register a maximum of 3 players from non-EU member states, and a maximum of 3 non-EU players can play at the same time. In the Bundesliga, each club has four places for foreign players, but can only play a maximum of three per game. It is also mandatory for each club to have at least 12 homegrown players in their first team.
