It was recently announced on social media that he has officially joined the
Liaoning men's basketball team
. Earlier, European basketball reporter Emiliano Carchia revealed that Shayok's signing with the Liaoning men's basketball team has been completed.
Shayok appeared in 47 regular season games for the Shandong Men's Basketball Team in 2023-24, averaging 23.2 minutes per game and contributing 19.1 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.2 steals. He shot 47.8% from the field and 41.1% from three-point range, showing great efficiency and scoring ability.
In addition to the CBA league, Shayok represented the South Sudanese men's basketball team in the Olympic qualifiers this summer. He averaged 29.6 minutes in all three group games, contributing 14.7 points and 3.7 rebounds on 30.4 percent three-point shooting.
