In last night's friendly match between Chelsea and Inter Milan, the two sides shook hands 1-1. After the match, Chelsea defender Wesley Fofana was interviewed, sharing his feelings about the match and his thoughts on the team's new coach Maresca.

On his Stamford Bridge debut, Fofana said: "I feel very good, very happy. It's been a long time since I stepped on this familiar turf and I felt a little bit of pressure, but when I really stepped on the pitch, that familiar feeling came over me immediately and I enjoyed this moment very much. It feels great to be back at home and share this joy with the fans."

Talking about his feelings about not being able to play for a long time, Fofana confessed, "It's really hard. For me, soccer is my life, and not being able to play has been tough. But I kept a positive attitude and focused on training and trying to get back in shape. Now that I'm finally back, it's a great relief to feel that my form is gradually picking up."

Regarding his physical condition, Fofana said: "Although there is still some physical tiredness and discomfort, in general, my physical condition is not bad. Of course, it will take some time and effort to get back to my best. I'm giving my all in training every day, including every game in the preseason, and I'm working hard to stay healthy and best prepared for the team."

In addition, Fofana spoke highly of new coach Maresca: "He is very good and has brought a new tactical philosophy and soccer style to the team. Everyone can see that we are playing a different kind of soccer under his guidance, and now we are playing more fluently and better. Of course, this process requires time and patience, but we all know that we don't have much time to adapt slowly. Therefore, we have to show our best selves this year alone and fight for more honors for the team."
