In a recent interview, French soccer star Petit spoke highly of Manchester United's newest recruit, Yolo, and gave insight into why Yolo has attracted the attention of a number of big-name clubs, including Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.

Petit began by praising Jolo's outstanding performances at Lille last season, noting that "Jolo showed remarkable strength in his first season at Lille, appearing in around 45 games, a remarkable attendance for a young player." This is a testament to Yoro's fitness and stamina and sets him apart in Ligue 1.

Petit then spoke about why Jolo has been able to attract the interest of many giants. He mentioned, "I can understand why Real Madrid are interested in him because in France he is known as the 'new Varane'. Varane is an important member of both Real Madrid and the French national team, and is highly regarded for his defensive abilities and leadership qualities. And the potential and strength that Jolo has shown on the field gives hope that he will become a future soccer superstar."

Apart from Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain have also shown a keen interest in Yolo. However, Petit revealed, "Paris Saint-Germain really wanted to sign him, but they would only spend a high price like €70 million if they were sure that his health and fitness were guaranteed. In the end, they had concerns about Yolo's fitness and therefore abandoned the deal."

This statement by Petit has also been borne out by the facts. Soon after joining United, Yolo was injured in a pre-season game, which raised concerns among the fans about his health. However, United are optimistic about Yolo's injury and expect him to recover his health and contribute to the team as soon as possible.
