According to the latest report from Sky Sports Germany's Plettenberg, Mainz's young striker Gruda is about to complete an important step in his career by joining English Premier League side Brighton. A transfer fee of around €30 million has been agreed between the two clubs and a verbal agreement has reportedly been reached, with the transfer set to be completed soon.

The 20-year-old German winger has shown great potential and strength over the past few seasons, and his German transfer price has already reached €20 million. Although his contract with Mainz does not expire until the summer of 2026, the Brighton club hierarchy and manager Hülzeler managed to convince him to join the team.

The addition of Gruda will undoubtedly add new energy and options to Brighton's offensive line. As a winger, he possesses excellent speed and breaking ability, as well as good shooting and passing skills. His arrival will further enhance Brighton's competitiveness in the Premier League and lay a solid foundation for the team's future development.

For Mainz, while it's a shame to lose a young and talented striker, they also gained a sizable amount of transfer fee income with this transfer. The money will help them find new players in the transfer market to fill the void left by Gruda and continue to work on the future of the team.
