Felix transfer negotiations between Atletico Madrid and Chelsea have reached a stalemate, and although both sides are trying to find a consensus, there are apparently still some insurmountable obstacles. According to Portugal's "Contest" reported that Atletico Madrid has formally rejected the first offer submitted by Chelsea on Felix, which totaled as much as 65 million euros, but apparently failed to meet the expectations of Atletico Madrid.

The offer was structured to include an initial guaranteed amount of €35 million, as well as a possible subsequent payment of €30 million. However, such a payment did not impress Atletico Madrid, who may have felt that such an offer was neither generous nor sincere enough, especially when considering Felix's potential and market value.

Although Atletico Madrid rejected Chelsea's first offer, negotiations between the two sides have not been completely interrupted. Felix himself is open to joining Chelsea again, which undoubtedly provides the impetus for both sides to continue negotiations. At the same time, Chelsea has not given up on the introduction of the talented Portuguese midfielder, they may consider raising the offer or adjusting the payment method to meet the requirements of Atletico.

At the moment, the "stones" between the two sides are mainly focused on the transfer fee and payment method. Atletico Madrid want a higher transfer fee to compensate for the loss of Felix, while Chelsea need to meet Atletico Madrid's demands as much as possible while maintaining their financial health. Therefore, the future negotiations will be centered around these core issues for in-depth discussions.
