Manchester City defender Kyle Walker looked back fondly on England's run at this summer's Euros, sharing his unique insights into the team's performance as well as his personal feelings in a recent interview.

Walker began by candidly pointing out the enormous pressure the team faces in the preparation and playing process: "The burden on our shoulders sometimes feels heavier than it actually needs to be. We can't completely ignore the media's criticism. After all, we are all ordinary people, and everyone desires to be loved and recognized by others, especially when you are passionate and deeply in love with what you do."

Talking about the thrilling match against Slovakia, Walker still has a lot on his mind. He revealed that before Bellingham finished that decisive equalizing goal, he almost thought that England would repeat their elimination from Euro 2016 by Iceland: "At that moment, a thought literally flashed through my mind - is this going to happen again? But luckily, we didn't let the tragedy happen again. Bellingham's goal not only saved the game, but also demonstrated the indomitable warrior spirit and courage of our England team."

In addition, Walker singled out Gralish's regret at not being included in the Europa League squad: "I was very surprised by the decision. Gralish is a very distinctive player who brings something to the team that other players don't have. Of course, I also understand the great challenge and difficult decisions that the coach faces when selecting the squad. The players know very well that it is not our job to decide who makes the final roster. All we can do is understand and respect the coach's decision, while also understanding that it's not just the starters who will win all the accolades and applause."
