Relocated to Oklahoma in 2008, Durant was named both NBA scoring champion and regular-season MVP in 2014, and joined the Golden State Warriors in 2016, winning the NBA Championship in 2016-17 and 2017-18 and becoming a two-time Finals MVP (FMVP).
In 2019, Durant joined the Brooklyn Nets.In October 2021, Durant was named to the NBA's Top 75 Superstars.In 2023, Durant was traded to the Phoenix Suns.

Durant was raised by his mother, Wanda Pratt, and his grandmother, Barbara Davis. His biological father, Wayne Pratt, left when Durant was barely a year old. Durant didn't see his father again until he was 13.
