The two sides signed a contract until September 2025 to officially become the new head coach of the Laos national team. This is the first time in the history of the Laos national team that a Korean coach is at the helm.
According to the contract signed between the two parties, Ha Hyuk-jun will be the head coach of the Laos national soccer team and the Laos U23 national team from August 2024 to September 2025, and will be responsible for leading the two teams to better results in the international arena.
Ha Hyuk-jun, 54, has previously coached the Myanmar national team and has accumulated extensive coaching experience in the Chinese league and Hong Kong. At the inauguration ceremony, Ha Hyuk-jun expressed his confidence in his new job, saying he believed he would be able to lead the Lao soccer team to achieve the goals set by the Lao Football Association.
