According to the latest report from Il Romanista, a well-known Italian media outlet, Premier League powerhouse West Ham United are actively planning a major reinforcement deal as they are ready to try to bring in striker Abraham, who is currently playing for Serie A's Roma, for a transfer fee of about 25 million pounds (equivalent to about 29 million euros).

The background to this transfer rumor is that West Ham United suffered a setback in their previous pursuit of Aston Villa striker Duran, failing to sign the player. The Hammers then quickly adjusted their targets and set their sights on Abraham, who is on the transfer market in the Roma squad.

Abraham is a 26-year-old striker who moved to Roma from Chelsea in the summer of 2021 for a then €41 million transfer fee. However, Abraham's playing time was drastically reduced last season due to injuries, as he only played 12 matches for Roma, making only two starts and scoring one goal. Despite this, Abraham's potential and strength has been recognized by many teams, with a number of clubs, including West Ham United, showing strong interest in him.

For West Ham United, bringing in Abraham will undoubtedly be a significant addition. They hope that the young striker will be able to provide the team with more offensive firepower and goal security in the new season. At the same time, West Ham United are also facing the challenge of negotiating with Roma, they need to reach an agreement with the other side in terms of transfer fee and player treatment in order to successfully sign Abraham.
