Manchester United wing forward Amit Diarou has been left idle by leader Tannhäuser this season.The 21-year-old Ivory Coast international has recently changed his social media photos and personal information, replacing them with a new photo of his Trampol shirt, removing information about Manchester United from his profile and writing in French. "It's all coming to an end", seemingly hinting at a departure from the Red Devils this summer.
Amit Diarou joined Manchester United in January 2021 for a transfer fee of €40 million (about HK$340 million), but has not been reused. It has been loaned to Soviet Premier League side Glasgow and Champions League side Newland. Last season, it scored 14 goals in 42 matches for Newland in an impressive performance, so United resumed its use this season.
