Germany hosted the European finals this summer and recently failed to dig into the corners. An invitation to Nuremberg star Usain to join the German team was rejected. The other side eventually chose Turkey and will fight for them this summer.
Born in Regensburg, Germany, 18-year-old Usan is a center forward or striker. In recent years he has been selected for the Turkish U17 and U18 and started his career at Nuremberg. He started attacking German B last season and so far he has scored 14 goals in 25 games, including 15 goals and 3 assists in 22 games this season.
Usan had the choice of playing for either Germany or Turkey and was offered a place by the German FA, however Usan decided to play for Turkey and informed the FA of his decision. Usan is expected to make his debut in the UEFA Europa League this summer, with Turkey being placed in Group F against Portugal, the Czech Republic and the finalists from Group C in the play-offs.
