Brisbane Roar's previous game in Australia was a 5:1 thrashing of Melbourne City, but in the last round of the league, after being 2:1 ahead of Perth Glory in the first 20 minutes of the game, they eventually lost 2:3, which was a very disappointing performance.

The Lions have been shaky, but I think the team has two redeeming qualities heading into this game. The first is that their last four home league matches have yielded two wins, one draw and one loss, so they tend to deliver good performances in front of their home fans.

The second point is that young scorer Thomas Waddingham, who scored many goals in the AFC Cup before the start of the season, has scored 3 goals in his last two league games, although his performance has been weak since the start of the league, so his confidence should be back to a high level.

Manager Michael Sagovic will want his team to maintain their strong home form, so I'm sure he'll be instructing his wingers such as Miliosztli and Henry Holley to supply more crosses, as Thomas Waddingham in the tackle is a gifted goal scorer.

Defensively, I feel that when they played against Perth Glory, they obviously failed to cope with the opponent's passing attack, coupled with the overall lack of decisiveness in defense, therefore, Western Union will try to attack these weaknesses of the Lions.

Western Union's rare win over Newcastle Jets was only the team's third of the season, and while they haven't had much to cheer about this season, young striker Noah Baudy has scored two goals in his last four outings.

Aside from hoping that Noah Baudy can keep up this goal-scoring trend, Western Union's front line, which has the lowest goal-scoring figures this season, will also need to deliver a solid performance, as the team is too dependent on its best player, Daniel Pensahl.
