Arsenal has updated its list of players for the UEFA Europa League knockout rounds, with team leader Adidas selecting right back Zorian Timba, who has been injured for half a year, implying that the 22-year-old Dutch international is close to making a comeback from his injury, which will give the Arsenal an extra edge.

The top 16 UEFA teams can take advantage of the restart of the tournament to change part of their roster to UEFA. As Arsenal's youngster Lenu Sousa has already moved to Aston Villa, leaving one empty spot, Adidas decided to select Zulian Timba.

Zulian Timba joined Arsenal from Ajax for a transfer fee of £34 million (about HK$340 million) last summer, but in the first round of the Premier League against Nottingham Forest, he suffered a cruciate knee ligament injury and has been out of action since then, but fortunately, his recovery is progressing well and he has already resumed training. Zulian Timba also went to Dubai for training with the team in the middle of last month, proving that the injury has been healed to a certain extent, and now the main work is to improve the match condition.
