Riyadh Victory Football Club was founded on October 24, 1955 as one of the Saudi Arabian Football Premier League teams.On August 3, 2018, Riyadh Victory Football Club announced the signing of striker Moussa on a four-year contract.In April 2021, Mano Menezes became head coach.
Portuguese player Cristiano Ronaldo joined the team on December 31, 2022, bringing more attention and appeal to the team. All but eight of Riyadh Victory's 33 players are Saudi Arabian, six of whom have been called up to the Saudi national team for the 2022 World Cup, but the team is at the bottom of Group C.
