With the new La Liga season about to kick off, FC Barcelona currently has seven players from the second and youth teams in the squad, according to Mundo Deportivo. These young players were promoted to the first team during the pre-season training and have shown their potential.

The seven players include:

goalkeeper (soccer, hockey etc)

:: Ander Astralaga

rear guard

:: Héctor Fort, Álex Valle, Gerard Martín, Mika Faye

middle period of a tripartite provincial exam (in former times)

:: Marc Casadó, Marc Bernal

At the start of the pre-season training in July, Barcelona had drawn as many as 17 players from the second and youth teams due to the shortage of personnel in the first team squad. As the season approached, after evaluating the performance of the players, manager Frick decided to send 10 of them back to the second and youth teams, while retaining the seven players mentioned above.

The retention of these young talents shows the importance Barcelona attaches to their future development and provides them with the opportunity to contribute to the first team in the new season. The club expects them to gradually integrate into the first team and become an important force for Barcelona in the future.
