According to Italian media outlet SportItalia, the
Napoli, capital of Campania region of Italy
have been willing to reduce the transfer asking price for striker Viktor Osmeen to €100 million from the original €130 million. Osmeen is interested in leaving the club this summer and this price reduction could clear the way for his move.
Currently, clubs interested in Osmeen include Chelsea of the English Premier League and Paris Saint-Germain of Ligue 1. However, Chelsea have yet to make a formal offer despite their interest in bringing in the Nigerian striker. According to rumors, Chelsea may include Romelu Lukaku in the negotiations to discount part of the transfer fee. On the other hand, Paris Saint-Germain have slowed down the process of bringing in Osmeen after assessing his price tag, believing that the player's asking price is still too high.
Napoli boss Antonio Conte is unhappy with the current transfer progress and wants his side to finalize a deal and bring in a new striker as soon as possible to ensure the team's competitiveness in the new season. If Osmeen's transfer goes through, Napoli will quickly move on to finding a replacement.
