Son Heung-min will return to action for Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday (8) and will play in the Premier League at home to Brighton on Saturday (10), although he is physically and mentally exhausted after South Korea's exit from the Asian Cup in the quarter-finals of the Asian Cup on Tuesday (6). The Asian Cup 'Japan-Korea Fantasy Final' is unlikely to be staged, but Son Heung-min will be in the Premier League when he plays against Kaoru Sanfelt.
According to the Guardian, Son Heung-min flew back to London immediately after South Korea lost to Jordan in the quarterfinals, and will have a training session for Tottenham on Sunday. The club will check on his physical condition, and if everything goes well, he will play against Brighton on Saturday. Heung-min has missed five matches for Spurs during the Asian Cup, including three Premier League matches in which he won only once, and he was also kicked out of the EFL Cup.
