The design of Old Trafford Stadium pursues a solemn and magnificent visual effect in the use of colors. The four sides of the red stands are as beautiful as the Manchester United jersey, which is the pride of Old Trafford. On the north stand, the white seats spell out "MANCHESTER UNITED", and on the east and west stands are the names of Manchester United's biggest sponsors, SHARP and UMBRO.
The entire stadium has a capacity of 55,320, while the average attendance is 55,164. In addition to general admission seating, there are family bleachers, private boxes, away fan seating and handicapped seating. Each type of seating is optimized for a specific audience.
The Family Stand, located in the southwest corner of the stadium, is open only to family members of club members or sightseeing groups organized by other clubs.
