Manchester United have won the Champions League a total of 3 times.

The first time was 10 years after the Munich air crash, in 1968, with Sir Busby leading the team, led by Sir Charlton (the duo were survivors of the Munich air crash), along with such notable players as Best, Dennis Law, etc. The Red Devils defeated Benfica 4-1 at Wembley Stadium on May 29, 1968, and became the first British team in history to win the European Champions League.

The second time was on May 26, 1999, which was Sir Busby's death anniversary, and he was also blessing us from heaven. With strikes from Sheringham and Solskjaer, the team beat Bayern 2-1 at the Camp Nou to become the treble winners that year!

The third came on May 21, 2008, the 50th anniversary of the Munich air crash, when the Red Devils beat Chelsea 7-6 on penalties at Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium to reach the top of Europe after nine years!
