The seventeenth UEFA-administered UEFA Euro 2024 tournament will be held in ten cities within Germany, with the most eye-catching opening match taking place on June 14, 2024 at the Allianz Arena in Munich, home of Bayern Munich, and the final on July 14, 2024 at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin, Germany. Apart from the German men's soccer team, which automatically qualifies for the final round of the UEFA Europa League, the remaining 23 places will be decided through the UEFA Europa League qualifying rounds.
As one of the most successful soccer teams in continental Europe, the German men's soccer team has won 4 World Cups (1954, 1974, 1990, 2014) and 3 European Cups (1972, 1980, 1996), as well as 1 Olympic Games. Especially in the European Cup, the German men's soccer team had 6 times to kill the European Cup final, in addition to 3 times to win the championship, 8 times to reach the quarterfinals, ranking first in the European continent.
It is worth mentioning that there will be 53 UEFA teams competing in the UEFA Euro 2024 qualifiers, which will be divided into 10 groups, of which seven groups of five teams each, three groups of six teams each, and will ultimately determine the 23 teams to compete in the final round of the competition. According to the latest draw, the groups for the Euro 2024 qualifiers have been officially released.
It is also worth mentioning that the Netherlands and France, two of Europe's traditional giants in the Euro 2024 qualifiers, are in Group B, where there will be some fights, while Spain and Portugal and other traditional giants have fallen into the first slot team, each leading a group, the top two in each group directly to the main round, and the remaining three qualifying places are lifted by way of a play-off. Unfortunately, Russia is still unable to participate in the tournament due to a ban.
