Iraq won all three of their group matches and qualified for the Round of 16 at the top of Group D after a dramatic 3-2 win over Vietnam in the final round of the group stage.

Although Iraq rested some of their players in this game, Ali Yessen and Ivan Hussein came in as backups and managed to turn the game in their favor. Ibrahim Bayesh kept the ball well and was able to make quick decisions on deliveries and I am sure he will try to get the ball behind the Jordanian defense this time.

Jordan lost 0-1 to Bahrain last time out, but still managed to qualify for the knockout stage as one of the best 3rd place teams.

They looked a bit rushed in that game when they set up their offense, I think it's important for them to try to create chances in the wing positions this game and then attack the openings up front.

Iraq's attacking midfielders will try to force Jordan's hand, so Jordan will have to try to stop this and then try to score with a quick counterattack. The most important thing is to focus on the transition between offense and defense, and Aidamali will be the main threat to the team's offense.
