Danish goalkeeper Kasper Schmeikel, who was released from his contract with Ligue 1 side Nice this summer, has finally landed a job, joining Belgian rivals Anderlecht on a one-year deal with the right to extend it for another year.

Kasper Schmidt was a member of the Leicester City team from 2011 to 22, and helped the Foxes win the 2015/16 Premier League title, and later won the 2020/21 EFL Cup. However, the 36-year-old goalkeeper left Lester City last summer, transferred to Nice after the performance of the numbness, but also because of the poor relationship with teammates, and early this summer to terminate the contract to leave the team, once faced with the "unemployment", but fortunately, the family to get André Legendre to take in.
