On Saturday (2) night, Bonny hosted Tottenham Hotspur in the English Premier League (EPL). The "Asian King" Son Heung-Min, assisting Tottenham Hotspur to win 5-2 against Bonny, opening the season with 3 wins, 1 draw and catching up with the top of the table Manchester City, and the captain of the team, Son Heung-Min, even accumulates 106 goals, surpassing the record of the two major goalscorers, namely, Cron (103) and D'Aubame (104), at one time.

The newly-promoted club took the lead in the opening four minutes of the match, with Lenny Cosby scoring the first goal of the match to make it 1-0. Tottenham Hotspur, who lost the EFL Cup in midweek, didn't let up, and in the 16th minute, they had a 2-on-2 attack, with Son Heung-min and Sharovin exchanging passes, and finally Son Heung-min's well-timed shot went past the club's keeper, James Chalcot, and into the net, bringing Spurs to an even 1-1 draw.
