in Poland
In an interview with renowned soccer program Foot Truck, Ajax legend Wesley Sneijder spoke highly of Faberski, the 18-year-old starlet in his team, and compared him to Yamal, a highly regarded rising star in today's soccer world. The praise certainly adds to Faberski's career.
Fabelski from Poland since 2022
Team Jagiellon has shown a lot of potential since joining Ajax. This season, he not only managed to get a contract extension, but also started to play for Ajax's second team in the Dutch Eredivisie, and scored his impressive career debut goal against FC Eindhoven with a brilliant one-stop goal that started from the back of the net and broke through to the front.
What's more, Faberski has been named in Ajax's squad for the UEFA Cup play-offs, meaning he is likely to make his first team debut in the near future. Ajax manager Faglioli has paid a lot of attention to this young talent, while the media and soccer experts have also been praising him.
Sneijder elaborated on his thoughts on Fabelski in the interview: 'I'm telling Poland today'
The reporter featured the young player. I had the pleasure of witnessing him in action last season when he was still playing for the U17s and immediately realized how extraordinary he was. Faberski is a brilliant winger with huge potential who plays in a very modern style and bears a striking resemblance to Yamal in some ways."
Sneijder further added, "He had a great game for Ajax Juniors against PSV Eindhoven Juniors and he played extremely well in that game. Everyone in the academy is full of praise for him and thinks he is the future star of our team. Also, he is your Polish
The future stars of soccer."
So far, Faberski has made 3 appearances for Ajax II this season, including 1 start, and managed to score 1 goal. As he continues to grow and improve on the pitch, I believe Faberski will be able to shine at Ajax and even at a higher level in the future.
