After Manchester United's away match against Brighton, in which the team controlled the pace of the game and created chances for most of the time, but eventually suffered from the opponent's shutout, manager Jens Ten Hagar was interviewed by TNT Sports after the match, giving an in-depth analysis and reflection on the game.

Ten Hagar began by expressing his disappointment with the result, "We are very disappointed because we controlled the game most of the time and did a good job in possession. However, we conceded two goals that could have been avoided, which should not have happened." He emphasized that as a team, it is important to be consistent at key moments and everyone should be clear about their responsibilities and work together to guard the goal.

Despite the result, Ten Hag pointed out the positives in the team's performance: "We had the ball, created chances and showed resilience. At one point we even thought we had scored the winning goal, but unfortunately the ball was touched before it crossed the goal line, which is very disappointing indeed. However, I can still see positives from the performance."

On the decision to replace Munter with Zilkzer at halftime, Ten Hag explained, "Mason (Munter) had some conditions before the game and we understood his situation and decided to start him. And Joshua (Zilkzer) played a good role in the game. We had a chance to take the lead before half-time, but unfortunately we couldn't capitalize on it. That's the way it is in soccer, the details make the difference. We have to do better in that regard."

When asked about the transfer rumors regarding the signing of Manuel Ugarte from Paris Saint-Germain, Ten Hag said that there is no update at the moment: "We are always looking for better opportunities to strengthen the team. But when we have definite news, we will make it public in time. Right now I haven't heard anything concrete about a transfer, so I don't think there's anything to say."

Ten Hagar took a similarly cautious approach to the question of the retention of players on the team, "As I said before, when we have definite news or decisions, we will keep everyone informed. Right now there isn't any concrete news about players staying or going."

Ten Hagar's speech demonstrated his clear understanding of the team's current situation and his firm confidence in the future. He believes that through continuous efforts and improvements, United will be able to overcome the current difficulties and return to the winning track.
