In a big win in the 2nd round of the Premier League, Manchester City showed great strength by easily defeating promotion rivals Ipswich with a score of 4-1. After the match, manager Pep Guardiola attended the press conference and commented on the match and the performance of the team's centerpiece Erling Harland.

On the match, Guardiola said, "The team showed great form from the start, very aggressive on the attacking side, constantly putting pressure on the opponent. Even though Ipswich were promoted, they did a great job and deserve a lot of credit. From the first minute of the game, I could see the respect the players had for the opposition, which was key to us being able to stay focused and ultimately win the game. We pressed hard in the game and managed to control the tempo of the game, playing at the same level as we did at Stamford Bridge (in the first round). Considering that we still had some shortcomings in our preparation, to win twice in two games is a very good result."

Talking about the core of the team, Erling Haaland, Guardiola was even more complimentary: "I said a few weeks ago that Haaland is feeling much better than last season. I remember him mentioning before that he was a bit tired, but luckily he didn't have to play in the Europa League, which gave him plenty of rest and adjustment. As a result, when he returned, he was in great shape. Of course, as an important player for the team, he can't play all the games before the end of the season, but we all know how important he is and his goals are crucial for the team. I always think of his situation in a positive light, he wanted to play in the Europa League so badly, but unfortunately it didn't happen. However, he now needs to relax and focus on the season and try to help Norway qualify for the next tournament in the national team competition. Harland's stats are simply outrageous and his presence is an incredible force for us. We are very happy to have him and hope he will play here for many, many years."
