Former England international Wojciech Wojciech has been out of action since completing his contract at Southampton this summer, and the 34-year-old announced the end of his playing career in a statement on social media on Friday (18).
Wojtek made his debut at Southampton in 2005, joining Arsenal at the age of 17 for £12 million (HK$120 million), and played at the Arsenal for 12 years, scoring 108 goals for the team. He left Arsenal for Ewarton and returned to his parent club, Southampton, in 2020, before being relegated last season and leaving the club at the end of his contract.
