East Asian Super Basketball League (EASL) team Jinyu Bay Area Winged Dragons announced their player list on Tuesday (15), with former Hong Kong Orient guard Tsui Yuen-zheng one of the five new recruits, who will team up with Wai Lung-er and Yeung Wo to return to the home of Hughton this season.
The East Asian Super Basketball League (EASL) season will be held from October this year to March next year, and the Bay Area Winged Dragons will play their home court this season at the Thu Thon Arena in Wan Chai, as well as participate in the PBA Commissioner's Cup in the Philippines.
The team announced the signing of five new recruits on Tuesday, including power forward Ramon Cao, guard Seva Chan, who played for the Cockburn Cougars in Australia's NBL1, Chinese guard Adili Kuerban, who played for Fujian Sturgeon in the CBA, Wang Yunzhang, who played for the Beijing University of Chemical Technology in the CUBA, and Hong Kong point guard Tsui Yuanzheng. Hong Kong's premier center, Wai Lung Yee, and Yang He, a Chinese-Canadian hybrid who played for South China, also renewed their contracts.
Xu Yuanzheng, 26, switched from Hong Yan Fujian to professional team Hong Kong Orient last year and won the ABL title with his brother Xu Yuancheng. The goal scorer has also established himself in the Hong Kong team in recent years and will represent Hong Kong in the Hangzhou Asian Games in September.
