Tottenham Hotspur recently sold their ace striker Harry Carney for 100 million pounds (about HK$1 billion) and are expected to look for a new player to replace him this month. Recently, some Italian media broke the news that Tottenham are in contact with Chelsea, and intend to "intercept" and snatch Zuyuntas's prey, Romelu Lukaku. However, the news has made a lot of Tottenham fans dissatisfied, and they think that Lukaku and Halikani are "a few steps behind".

Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla has reported that Zuyuntas have been slow to reach a consensus on a deal to exchange Dusinhojvic for Lukaku, and that even though Lukaku and Zuji have already agreed on their personal terms, Chelsea's leader, Pujitenu, still has reservations about Dusinhojvic, and prefers Lukaku to be sold outright, with Tottenham Hotspur contacting Lukaku in preparation for a bid, following the sale of Halikani.
