In the final of the Arabian Champions Cup on Saturday night (12), Portuguese superstar Cron created a miracle by scoring twice and assisting Ainas, who was playing with one man less, to win 2-1 in extra time against another Saudi Arabian team, Hilal, making it the first championship after Cron landed in the Middle East soccer world. The 38-year old veteran, who was fighting for his life, was injured at the end of the match and couldn't help but shed tears of heroism, which was really touching.

Both teams have a lot of stars in their team. In the 51st minute, Brazilian striker Margan, who used to play for Barcelona, crossed the ball from the left side, which was headed in by Michael to set up a record for Hilal. Ainas was hit by a bad patch of rain when center forward Aianli was sent off in the 71st minute, leaving the team one man short. Luckily, Cron played the role of savior again and scored at the near post to equalize the match at 1-1 three minutes later, but the match was tied at the statutory time and needed extra time.

Cronin scored in the eighth minute of overtime to lead his team to a 2-1 victory, but five minutes before the end of the match, Cronin suffered a knee injury and had to be taken away on a stretcher, during which time he was in tears and in great pain. After the game, Cron entered the stadium and celebrated with his teammates. He was able to move around freely and his injury was not serious.
