In the early morning of Sunday (13th), Newcastle's newest addition to the Premier League, Sindo Donnelly and Javi Bannis scored a goal each to give the Magpies a 5-1 win over Aston Villa at home, a great start to the new season. In fact, the Magpies' performance last season has already improved by leaps and bounds, and this season's squad is even stronger, and the next match in the EPL will be a fierce battle against the king of Manchester City.

It took only six minutes for Newcastle to break through the door of Aston Villa, as Anthony Gordon's cross from the left was crashed in by Sindo Donnelly, the 23-year-old Italian international who joined Newcastle from AC Milan for a transfer fee of 70 million euros (HK$600 million) this summer, proving that he's worth his weight in gold.

Although Villa was quick to equalize with a powerful shot from new recruit Moussa Dayabi, Newcastle striker Alexandre Ishak scored twice to open the record, and he was voted the best player of the match by the fans.

Newcastle's midfielder Harvey Bannis, who joined the club at the end of last month for £38 million (about HK$380 million) from Leicester City, had a great game as a backup, including an assist for Colin Wilson and a goal himself in stoppage time, helping Newcastle to a 5-1 win.
