Liverpool lost 3-4 to Bayern Munich in Singapore on Wednesday (2) on the last leg of their Asian tour, with Argentine midfielder Alexei Alistair leaving the game with an injury. Liverpool conceded four more goals in the match and were outscored by a total of 10 in the four pre-season warm-up matches, and team leader Gopp admitted after the match that there were big problems with the defense's concentration.
Liverpool continued to show strong attacking power in the early part of the match. Gap opened the scoring in the 2nd minute, Wojciech Wendicek opened the scoring in the 28th minute, but Bayern's Kenobi and Lileksineni scored a goal each to tie the match before the half time.
