Recently, Liverpool FC legend Jamie Carragher gave his insight on the rumors of Arnold's possible move to Real Madrid. Carragher believes that the rumor not only touches the hearts of Liverpool fans, but could also have an impact on Real Madrid's current right-back Carvajal.
Carragher said, "While everyone is discussing whether Arnold will join Real Madrid, I think Carvajal will also have an interest in the matter and may even express some of his own views. After all, Carvajal is a six-time UEFA Champions League winner and has just helped the Spanish national team win this summer's UEFA Europa League, so his status and contribution cannot be ignored."
For Arnold himself, Carragher also gave pertinent advice: "As a professional player, Arnold is in the prime of his career and he needs to seriously consider his future plans. Now he has only one year left in his contract, which is a critical moment. He can choose to extend his contract and stay at Liverpool, or he can choose to explore new challenges. I'm sure he has had some dealings with other clubs but the final decision needs to be carefully considered."
Arnold, as an outstanding representative of Liverpool's youth training, has shown great talent and strength since his debut. Up to now, he has made 312 appearances for Liverpool's first team, scoring 19 goals and delivering 81 assists, making him an indispensable member of the team. However, with his contract about to expire, his future destination has become the focus of fans' attention.
