Dutch media reported that Manchester City defender Nathan Aki will soon renew his contract and receive a substantial pay rise of 60%, from £90,000 (about HK$900,000) to £150,000 (about HK$1.5 million), becoming the 2nd highest earning Dutch player in the Premier League, second only to Liverpool's Wah Kiil Wendy Jaeger.
Nathaniel Akechi is one of the members of City's Triple Crown winners last season. He was a regular in the UEFA final and scored 3 goals in 41 matches in all competitions, which is the left centerpiece of Gaudiona's system, and his best season since joining City.
