This is a very important match for both Italy and Argentina, and I think both teams will be fighting for the second place together, so the winner will have a better chance to qualify for the knockout stage.
Italy has been improving a lot in recent years, they made it to the last 8 of the Women's World Cup last year, and the players who are going to play in this year's tournament are even more experienced and battle-hardened. Captain Gianni is the star of the team and the most threatening player, while Bonlensia is another player who has impressed me in recent years. They both play together for Juventus, and if they link up well in the attack, their team will be able to do well in this tournament.
I would like to see 16 year old Darraghany, who recently made his debut for Daikin, play as Bonlensia may not be a regular. The young midfielder joined Barcelona earlier this year and has been highly touted as a possible star of tomorrow.
Argentina finished third in the Women's CONCACAF Champions League last year, and are unbeaten going into 2023, so they should be confident. They have not won a single match in their three trips to the final week of the Women's World Cup, so they seem to be one of the runners-up, but I believe that they are the strongest team of all time in this year's tournament.
Jermaine Rodriguez was the leading scorer in the last Women's CONCACAF Champions League after a stellar performance, so I'm really looking forward to see what she can do in this year's Women's World Cup.
