France will be over-rated before the tournament, but I think Jamaica is likely to give a good performance in the Women's World Cup, so France will face a tough opponent this time.

I believe that Hannah will be able to take the team to the next level as he has re-instated a number of players who were reluctant to represent the former coach.

France has some great players in their squad, including the national record holder Nathaniel, who has scored 3 goals in 3 matches since her return to the national team. I'm also a big fan of Dali, who has just had a successful season with Aston Villa and will be a creative force in the midfield.

Captain Renate is also a key player in the back four. She is a leader with a lot of experience in the game and has won many championships at club level. She is undoubtedly one of the best defenders in the world today and will have a key role to play if France hopes to advance to the latter stages.

Renate's first task will be to keep Jamaica's striker Salle calm. Having played with Sal at Manchester City before I retired, I know she is a versatile player who is strong and protects the ball well. She can get behind opposing defenders, score with both feet and headers, and create chances for her teammates to score.

Sal was the second highest scorer in the Women's Premier League last season (20 goals) and she has a great command of the goal. I believe she has the potential to deliver a star performance in this year's tournament, so it will be interesting to see her battle with Wendy Hannah this time around.
