Arsenal's pre-season tour of the United States got off to a good start with a 5-0 thrashing of the USMNT All Stars in the morning of Thursday (20). Two of the Arsenal's newest stars, Dee Glen Rice and Zulian Timba, are making their debuts in the match, while another summer signing, Xaviers, scored his first goal since starting his career as an Arsenal bobblehead, so the preparations for the match seem to be quite satisfactory.
The two teams faced the Ronnie-coached USMNT Stars in the first half, but Arsenal had a better grasp of the game, with Gabriele Jenksis opening the scoring in the 5th minute, followed by Liandu Dusat in the 23rd minute to make it a 2-0 lead at halftime, and Arsenal got a 12-yarder 2 minutes after the change of sides, with Zorzinho making it 3-0.
