Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has agreed to join Saudi Arabia's Ittifaq, and will soon leave the Reds' training camp to go to the Middle East to dig for gold, according to major media reports in the U.K. It is reported that the 33-year-old England international will sign a three-year contract with Ittifaq, with a total payroll value of 108 million pounds (about 1.1 billion Hong Kong dollars).

Liverpool on Thursday (20) early morning warm-up match against Karlsruhe, Jordan Henderson did not play, it turned out that he discussed with the team leader Gopp, the other side agreed to release, Liverpool has also accepted Ittifaq's £ 12 million (about HK$ 121 million) transfer fee.

Jordan Henderson's willingness to leave Liverpool, where he has played for 12 years, is largely due to the attractive terms offered by Ittifaq, who offered the midfielder a three-year deal with a weekly salary of £700,000 (about HK$7.09 million), which is much higher than the £140,000 (about HK$1.42 million) that he currently earns at Liverpool, and is indeed hard to refuse.

In addition, Ittifaq earlier hired Liverpool's famous Sherratt to coach, the former Reds "magic captain" also lobbying Jordan Henderson to come to join the team, which made him heartbroken.
