After beating Lyon in a warm-up match on Wednesday night (19), Manchester United have flown to the United States for a training session. According to the Daily Mail, midfielder Fayth did not go with the team because he had to deal with "personal matters", presumably in preparation for a transfer.
Fite played 45 minutes in the second half of the last warm-up match. After the match, the team announced the list of 31 players for the "American Tour", but Fite was not on the list. United released a statement saying that the 30-year old Brazilian international was unable to go with the team due to "personal reasons", and is expected to return to the team in a short period of time. United are rumored to be willing to sell Fite for 20 million pounds (about HK$202 million), with the best chance of a move to Fulham.
