Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) have made a series of signings in recent days, following Marco Acincio, Manuel Ugarte, Stefania and Lee Kang Yan, and then announced on Monday (10th) that they have acquired French defender Lukas Boots Nandis from Bayern Munich, for a transfer fee of 40 million euros (about HK$343 million) plus bonuses, and is the fifth new recruit since new manager Antoine Antoine has taken over the post.
The 27-year-old Lucas Boots Nandis has been playing for Bayern Munich for 4 years. Last season, he suffered from a serious knee injury that greatly reduced his chances of playing. As he only had 1 year left in his contract, Bayern Munich had to sell him "flat", and PSG took advantage of the situation. The news is that Lucas Boots Nandis has signed a 5-year contract with PSG and will be the centerpiece of Anzhi's defense.
