Ligue 1 powerhouse Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has officially announced the signing of Mallorca's South Korean footballer Lee Kang-in, who has signed a 5-year contract for a reported transfer fee of 22 million euros (around HK$190 million), making him the 4th player to join the club this summer. However, the 22-year-old "South Korean Meis" has not performed well in the past, and PSG seems to be using a sampan as a gunboat to replace "Real Meis".
Lee joined the Valencia youth team at the age of 10, and can play as a wing forward and attacking midfielder. After he was promoted to the first team, he played for the "Bat Corps" for 3 seasons, scoring 3 goals in 62 games. Two years ago, he moved to Mallorca as a free agent, and last season, he played at the highest level since his debut, scoring 6 goals and 6 assists in 39 games, attracting the attention of PSG, hoping that he will become another Heung-Min Son.
It is reported that Li Kangren joined Mallorca back then and waived the signature fee, so he can get 20% dividend from the current transfer fee of 22 million euros, which is about 4.4 million euros (about 37.7 million Hong Kong dollars).
