Premier League club Brighton announced on Tuesday (4) that they have acquired Dutch goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen from Andretti for 16.3 million pounds (about HK$162 million). 20-year-old Verbruggen has the same name as Bart, the protagonist of the classic cartoon "Arsenal", and Brighton made a funny official announcement by mimicking the opening credits of this cartoon.
Brighton used a short video on social media to make the official announcement, changing the cartoon title The Simpsons to The Signing. The original title was Bart being penalized for copying on the blackboard, so Brighton arranged for Yun Bugen to copy "I'm signing for Brighton" on the blackboard, which was creative enough to make a lot of fans very happy.
