According to the Mail, while United executives such as Berrada and Ashworth have expressed staunch support for manager Jurgen Ten Hagar in public, that support comes with huge expectations and pressure behind it. United have invested heavily in the transfer market this summer, spending £200 million to bring in five new recruits including De Ligt and Mazrahi, with the aim of reshaping the team around Ten Hag's tactical system.

The Inglis Group, one of the owners of Manchester United, demonstrated full trust in Ten Hagar, believing that it would be unfair to judge him while the system was not yet perfected. This attitude provides a certain buffer for Ten Hagar, giving him more time to adjust and perfect the team's tactical play.

However, as United suffered a challenging start to the season, the pressure to perform gradually became apparent. Ten Hagar was now faced with a daunting task: he had to quickly integrate this new batch of reinforcements into the team and lead United out of the doldrums. In this process, Ashworth as sporting director, Wilcox as technical director and the continued efforts of the medical department have provided strong support to Ten Hagar.

The Post pointed out that if United's performance cannot be effectively improved, then Temhag's position will be seriously threatened. Although there is no panic within United at the moment, they have made it clear that the purpose of keeping Ten Hag and building a new system is not to give up on him easily when things get tough, but to hope that he can lead the team to success. However, if the poor results continue, the club will have to consider taking the necessary steps to change things.
