Former Iranian World Cup star Ali Dey was arrested on Tuesday night (25) for his involvement in local protests, the UK Times reports.
Sources said that the 53-year-old celebrity was reportedly taken to a government guesthouse guarded by security forces after his passport was confiscated and he was banned from leaving the country about two weeks ago after he was arrested for expressing support for local protests as a wave of demonstrations continued in Iran.
