Presented in black and white, the video shows 16 Australian footballers, including Mathieu Ryan, Bailey Hooley and Kyle Lunis, speaking out about the human rights situation in Qatar, including supporting the rights of sexual minorities, calling for the decriminalization of homosexuality, and calling for the establishment of an Immigration Resource Centre to safeguard the rights of immigrants and labourers, among other things, with the Australian Football Association (AFA) giving its full support to the players.

Australia is the first team to play in this year's World Cup Finals to speak out on human rights in Qatar. Australia are in Group D of the World Cup Finals, where they are joined by France, Denmark and Tunisia.
