Barcelona, once the world's highest-earning soccer club, has been in financial difficulties in recent years, and has had to resort to leverage and asset sales to survive this season. Barcelona's board of directors announced the budget for the 2022-23 season, with operating income growing to €1.255 billion and a forecast profit of up to €274 million, which, if it comes true, will really be a day in the sun.
