The coffin of the late Queen Elizabeth II is now resting in Westminster Hall in London, England, for the public to pay their respects. Former England captain David Beecham, who queued up for up to 12 hours on Friday (16th) with other members of the public to pay his final farewell to the Queen, described it as a sad day and a day to be remembered.

Beecham, 47, was spotted in the queue on Friday (16), during which a number of members of the public asked for a photo, which he graciously agreed to, the football superstar started queuing at 2am, and queued for 12 hours before entering Westminster Hall, where he walked to the Queen's casket in front of the silence for a period of time with tears in his eyes. It's a sad day and a day to remember," he said. He said after the visit.

It was very special to be here, I heard so many different stories and everyone wanted to share something with the Queen, I thought it would be less crowded if I came at 2am, but I was wrong. BECKHAM was awarded an OBE by the Queen in 2003, I will always remember the ceremony when she honored me, I was there with my grandparents and my wife, it was a great honor, the Queen asked me questions and talked to me, I'm very lucky to have this moment in my life, and we can all feel her love.
